On April 14, 1865, over 1,500 people came to Ford's Theatre to see a performance of "Our American Cousin" and catch a glimpse of President Lincoln. At about 10 o'clock that evening, they witnessed the first presidential assassination in our nation's history.
In this workshop, particpants will examine primary sources and first-hand accounts of individuals who were in the theatre that night. Compare and contrast accounts, and determine the events of the assassiantion of Abraham Lincoln.
Participants in this workshop are eligible for certification of One (1) Professional Development Hour, upon request.
